Frank T. Blake Jr.

Frank T. Blake Jr., 67, of Bath, died Friday, July 11, at a local hospital.

Born in Bath on June 29, 1941, he was a son of Frank T. Sr. and June G. (Sawyer) Blake.

Mr. Blake attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School in the Class of 1959.

He was employed at First National Grocery Store in Bath for five years, then as a civilian for civil service at the Brunswick Naval Air Station Commissary. For eight years he drove taxi for Dauphin taxi in Bath. In 1979 he began working at Bath Iron Works retiring in 1994. In 1996 he moved from Wiscasset to Bath.

He was predeceased by one brother, Michael A. Blake.

Survivors include one brother, Byron L. Blake of Wiscasset; and one niece.

Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bath at a later date.

Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath.

Barbara J. Brown

Friends of the late Barbara J. Brown are invited to a service in her memory to be held Saturday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at the Wilson Memorial Chapel, Ocean Point, with The Rev. Robert Houston officiating.

Following the service, all are invited to a reception at the Ocean Point Casino.

A. Wesley Robinson

A. Wesley Robinson of Haverhill, Massachusetts and Ocean Point died peacefully Sunday, May 4, with his children, Joy Cook, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, Sarah of Ocean City, Maryland and Andrew of Verona, New Jersey at his side

He was born in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1924, the only son of Bertha and Arthur Robinson. His only sister, Elizabeth Hopkins of Cape Cod, is deceased.

He served in the Seventh Infantry in World War II, in the swamps of Lahti and Okinawa in the Philippines, documenting his experiences in letters to his parents.

In 1950 he married Nancy Iddings, who, like Wes, had grown up in Sharon, Massachusetts and raised a family there. Wes was a food broker in Boston and knew many in the food industry throughout New England.

They moved to West Newbury, Mass. in the early 1970s which brought the family closer to Ocean Point, where he enjoyed a summer home for many years. He and Nancy enjoyed traveling. She passed away in 1996 while they were vacationing in the Algarve of Portugal, their winter retreat.

A memorial service was held at All Saints Church in West Newbury on June 28. Those wishing to share condolences may call Andrew Robinson at (973) 865-0033.
