Hospital celebrates 100 years!
St. Andrews Hospital & Healthcare Center, a renowned rural hospital &
healthcare center and a key member of the MaineHealth® Family of
healthcare providers, is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
As part of a summer-long anniversary celebration, St. Andrews is
hosting and co-hosting with other local community organizations a myriad
of special events. St Andrews will also be hosting a 100th anniversary
celebration/dedication ceremony for the new John F. Andrews Medical Arts
Building on the St. Andrews Hospital Campus and sharing the hospital's
rich history with the community.

July 16: St. Andrews Village/ Opera House Donation BBQ
July 24: St. Andrews Community Health Day in conjunction with the
Boothbay Region YMCA (various locations - see event schedule for
details)
July 24: Sunset kayak cruise leaving from Tidal Kayak dock
August 1: 100th Anniversary Celebration/Dedication of the NEW John. F.
Andrews Medical Arts Building - St. Andrews Campus
August 23: Sunset Boat Cruise - Harbor Princess - with the Cahoots!
Founded in 1908, this first mid-coast hospital, originally called
Gregory Sanitorium, was later renamed St Andrews Hospital. One hundred
years later, St. Andrews Hospital & Healthcare Center remains an essential
contributor to the health and vitality in this rural community. In
addition, St. Andrews has the distinction of being the only hospital north
of Virginia that is accessible by land, sea and air.
