The Fisherman's Wharf Inn's dining room will be transformed into Boothbay Harbor's own version of Project Runway on Friday, July 11 for the colorful, delicious and fun Boothbay in Bloom Fashion Show & Luncheon, presented by the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce!

Laura Honey and Nancy Case (a.k.a. Thelma and Louise, if that tells you what you're in for!) and some of the region's most recognizable faces will be strutting their stuff modeling this year's most smashing fashions and jewelry by local retailers including A Silver Lining, At-the-Beach Gallery & Boutique, Billis Fine Art, Calypso, The Cannery, House of Logan, Janson's Clothing Store, Life is Good Store, The Loft at the Smiling Cow, Maverick's, Molly Hutchins Designs, The Nautical Rooster, Sadie Green's and the St. Andrews Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop (watch for the complete list of participants soon!). This year's event will again feature a Silent Auction with a wide variety of unique items from local businesses. New this year - Hats on Parade! Wear a hat and win a surprise gift!

The luncheon menu includes a savory choice of seafood salad or cranberry chicken salad in a crispy edible shell, plus potato salad, and a seriously decadent dessert of chocolate mousse in a chocolate shell with raspberry puree, plus coffee/tea.

Cost for the Fashion Show and Luncheon is $30 per person (and includes tax and gratuity). Doors open at 11 a.m. for viewing of the Silent Auction, and a cash bar (Try one of Mrs. H's martini specials!). The luncheon begins at noon with the Fashion Show immediately thereafter.
