Need more evidence? Work Day is scheduled for May 17 with a 0800 starting time. That is just over two weeks away. I recommend participating in the Club Work Day for new members in particular.

I reported for Work Day duty back in the early '80s when I was a new member and worked with a guy I had never met at the job of painting the old second-story kitchen in the Hill House. His name was Gardiner Rapelye. We have been fast friends ever since.

That night is the season's first in-house party; the annual Potluck Supper. Sandy Gillespie is coordinating the evening's menu. Please call her early and often to get a food assignment. Her telephone number is 633-0084. The committee is looking for casseroles or salads for eight.

There has been excellent turnout for the Business Men's Lunch on Wednesdays at Mr. C's. It was originally named BML and the name has stuck. About the only business this bunch is involved with is monkey but they do solve the world's problems on a weekly basis. There is no entrance or initiation fee and lunch is wholesome and reasonable. Time: 1200 noon.
