We returned early last weekend with many pleasant memories and a very unpleasant bronchial bug. In an attempt to keep this virulent little devil under wraps, we have made a point of not being out and about. Fact is, we haven't felt up to it. Our telephone and e-mail have served us well and are not contagious. So let's see what's going on during these doldrum months of winter.

The men's lunch bunch continues to meet at noon on Wednesday and the turnout has been good. Last week there were about eight in attendance according to reliable sources. We still meet at Mr. C's.

Our March BHYC Cocktail Party will take place next Thursday evening, March 20, at the home of Joe and Brenda Blake; the usual drill is in place. The time is 5:30 p.m. Let us hope that the weather fairy is in our corner, but this is Maine in March, so be prepared.

I'm still a bit scattered with stuff at my desk, more stuff in a briefcase someplace and more stuff on hiding. I did see an impressive list of folks who plan to attend the BHYC reunion in Naples, Florida on April 4th. The list is still in hiding but Lynn Nordoff is the contact person at 239-594-8420. Every word I've heard points toward a pretty grand affair. Please be sure to contact Lynn if you are going to attend.
