A report from Howie Wright tells of a coup by Pauline Dion. She

acquired a week in a chalet/condo in the Catskills and she corralled Howie and Dee along with Gail Nassif and Cindy Greenleaf, to join her for some skiing. Howie's report tells of four straight days on the slopes with excellent conditions. It makes you feel sorry for our snowbirds that are getting sunburned in sunny Florida.

I also received a report, that in my absence, another ghost has appeared on the Boothbay Register scene. Last week, much deserved credit was given to Fran and Don Hale for hosting the February party.

We wish we could have been there. There is another coming up on the 20th of March at the home of Joe and Brenda Blake. With a fair wind behind us we hope to be in attendance; more will be reported next week.

And - there is yet another party coming on April 4th at the Naples Florida Yacht Club. Several members have signed up to date. Members who plan to join this annual reunion are asked to please get in touch with Lynn Nordoff, 239-594- 8420 ASAP. The NYC needs advance notice to insure a perfect BHYC evening.

Our Master Store Keeper, Peggy Chapman reports that insulated ice buckets will be offered by our Ship's Store to match the Tervis monogrammed glassware which many of us have.

The worst part of my job is to report the loss of another member. Marion Dash passed away last week. She and her late husband lived exciting lives and I know they are both smiling comfortably as they reflect on their time here on earth. 'Well done, good and faithful servants.'
