Bob Mitchell, the Boothbay region's iconic photographer, brings his second "picture show" to the main stage at the Opera House on Wednesday, February 13.

Last September, during the first Bob Mitchell Picture Show, Mitchell captivated over 200 audience members with an array of images chronicling the past 30 years in the region. As he projected his pictures, the beloved local photographer shared stories relating to the people and places depicted on the screen. Audience members chimed in and added their own stories. It was a sometimes hilarious, often poignant and memorable evening in the old Opera House and one that has given rise to the second of the Mitchell shows.

In response to requests for another show, the evening of February 13 will include an entirely new selection of slides and digital images and promises just as many great stories from the stage and audience.

The main floor of the Opera House will open at 6 p.m. and cookies and desserts will be served by the volunteer Friends of the Opera House. A selection of beverages will be available at the downstairs bar.

Mitchell plans to begin his presentation at 7 p.m. No tickets are necessary for this Opera House presentation, but donations to help with the Opera House's maintenance expenses will gladly be accepted at the door.
