Wiscasset resident Paul Andrews, Jr. has been arrested in connection with a November 22 accident in South Bristol, which took the life of Kyle Goulette, 21, of South Bristol. Goulette lived in Wiscasset before moving to South Bristol.

Andrews, 23, was arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office on December 10 and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence Resulting in Death.

According to a news release from the sheriff's office, the arrest was made as a result of an ongoing investigation. The release also said the case will go the Lincoln County Grand Jury, and that additional charges are possible before his court appearance date on February 12, 2008.

Andrews was processed at the Two Bridges Regional Jail and released on $5,000 cash bond on condition that he not operate a motor vehicle, not use or possess alcohol or drugs, and that "he submit to search and testing of his person, residence and vehicle at any time with probably cause."
