East Boothbay Postmaster Linda Lewis Livingston recently received a Certificate of Excellence from the United States Postal Service for accumulating over 500 hours of unused sick leave.

An accompanying letter praises her for "making that extra effort to be regular in attendance." It goes on to stress the importance of dependability. She also received a pin recognizing her accomplishment.

The East Boothbay native was named Postmaster in her home town in July, following nine years of service with the U.S. Postal Service throughout the region.
