After being at our present location for 32 great years, the Boothbay Animal Hospital is preparing to move into the new facility on Saturday, January 5, 2008 (not the weekend of December 15 as previously believed).

The present office will be closed on January 5 as the staff and doctors move into the new building at 285 Wiscasset Road in Boothbay, next to the Boothbay Playhouse on Route 27.

On moving day, our sister office in Wiscasset, Coastal Veterinary Care, will be open in the afternoon between 2 and 5 p.m. for walk-in appointments.

Only the location will change; the veterinarians, staff, phone number and office hours will remain the same. The difference is, there will be more room to treat your pets.

Beyond easier access and greater parking, the waiting and operating rooms are larger and there are two additional exam rooms. The treatment room and pharmacy have also been resized.

We will open our new facility on Monday, January 7, 2008. For the first few days we will not perform any surgeries or see pets in need of routine care, only "sick" pets will be seen while we make this transition.
