The honor was bestowed on Miss Alley and Camelot for emerging as the 2007 Grand National and World Champions.

The Proclamation

Brooke Janelle Alley

WHEREAS Brooke Janelle Alley and her trusted partner Fiddler's Camelot, have returned home to Boothbay from an amazing performance in Oklahoma City as the 2007 Grand National Champions in the two events and the 2007 World Championship title holder from the Grand National Morgan Horse Show and

WHEREAS Brooke and Camelot had the help of her family and friends and her Trainer, Katie Yereance, along with her friends and colleagues at Sea-Vu Farms and was prepared. In addition, this trip and competition would not have been possible without the support of all those from this community who contributed to send Brooke and Cam to Oklahoma City to win the first time ever awarded World Championship from among 30 competitors in her age group, and they have made the region very proud of this outstanding award and her dedication.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Boothbay Board of Selectmen hereby express our congratulations to Brooke, and her horse Fiddler's Camelot upon her selection as a Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse winner, and declare November 16, 2007, as Brooke Janelle Alley and Fiddler's Camelot Day in the Town of Boothbay.
