A special meeting was held at Boothbay Region Ambulance Service, Monday, November 12 to discuss the changing of their radio frequency.
The meeting was attended by the BRAS Board of Directors, Heidi Leighton, Mike Leighton, Dave Benner, Steve Lewis, Robbie Ham, Mary Norwood, Ryan Giles, Boothbay Harbor Police officer Rich Mirabile; and Kathy Blagdon of Lincoln County 911 Center. The attendees discussed the activation of the new radio frequency and paging system scheduled for Saturday, November 17.
ALL 911-Emergency calls will be answered and dispatched by Lincoln County 911 Communications Center.
"Our goals are to make the switch seamless and keep both dispatch centers working together to streamline the method that BRAS is paged out to a call," said BRAS Chairman Robbie Ham.
Boothbay Region Ambulance Service would like to recognize citizens of the community for their generous support and the following local contractors for their services: E.M. Wood Construction, Ridout Marine, Brian Doucette-Masonry, Ferraiolo Concrete, Poole Brothers Lumber, Lincoln and Haney Engineers and Hodgdon Yachts. |
