The men's luncheon group keeps chugging along at noon on Wednesday. This is a little bigger bunch this past week, indicating to me that the chores around the house and yard are lightening up. Activities at the clubhouse are in the doldrums. Jim Matel is in his office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week if you need to contact him. There have been no recent reports of any new entries into sickbay and we all pray that it remains that way.

The major news is the November Club Party on the 15th. As reported, it will be at the home of Gardiner Rapelye on Roads End. The directions are simple. Just past the Carousel Condos on Atlantic Avenue, a little south of the Catholic Church, bear right onto Roads End. Gardiner lives about 500 yards on the right. The drill is familiar to most of us; bring a gourmet offering in the finger food category - maybe a little more ambitious - some sarsaparilla, Moxie or whatever you feel will quench your thirst. There is the possibility that a musical interlude may be part of the festivities, not necessarily from Gardiner's extensive record collection.
