The Boothbay Region Senior Citizen Club resumed its meetings in September but will not return to its usual schedule of the second and fourth Wednesdays until the first of the year. At the September 26 meeting, President Peggy Stover requested all who are able to bake a dessert for the Boothbay Fire Station's open house on October.

On October 10, there will be a potluck lunch followed by entertainment, either by the Holy Mackerels or Jimmy Hanna. There will be plenty of food so even if you didn't sign up to bring a dish, please join us anyway. Instead of a meeting on October 24, members will be car-pooling to the Christmas Tree Shop in Portland, and will have lunch at the Olive Garden.

As of this date, there will only be one meeting in November and one in December because of the holidays. We'll try to keep all apprised of these dates.
