Daren Graves of G & G Towing received an award for the second year in a row from GE Financial at the Florida Tow Show.

Graves attended the award ceremony on Friday, May 11 with his daughter, Denise, son-in-law Mike, and grandson Nick who live in Florida.

G & G Towing was awarded for highest performance, professionalism and best rate and response time in the state of Maine.

They have been invited to the Florida Tow Show for 12 years straight. The show hosts vendors, wreckers, safety courses and, of course, the awards.

G & G Towing, which is located on Hardwick Road in Boothbay, will go almost anywhere, according to Graves, who said he had wreckers going to Peabody, Massachusetts and Skowhegan at the time of this interview.

Graves wanted to thank staff members Richard Blouin, mechanic and body man Derek Anderson, and driver mechanic John Pappas for helping the company attain the awards.
