Though Pirates of the Caribbean will be shining on screens this week around the world, the launch date for one of its stars, H.M.S. Bounty, has been changed tentatively from June 2 to June 9 according to Bounty Executive Director Margaret Ramsey.

The restoration of the ship continues at a steady pace but to launch the ship prematurely while there is still more work to be done, mostly on the interior and deck, would be more work than just keeping the ship on the railway until it is done Ramsey said.
