In last week's Boothbay Harbor board of selectmen article, a quote from Chairman Gary Farnham regarding a proposed one percent CPI-U decrease should have read: "Only 38 percent of our budget is controllable and 62 percent isn't. I am not going to cut my employees' throats to subsidize an uncontrollable expense." (i.e. the county, the school and other entities which we get bills from and have no control.)
