Williams, in his second year and one of the youngest racers on the Pro Stock circuit, qualified for the 40-car final by finishing fourth in his qualifying heat.

The 250 was won by Maine racing legend, Mike Rowe of Turner, for the third time in his long career. It was also his 150th win at Oxford Plains Speedway. His son, Ben Rowe, had won the previous two 250s.

Williams, a 2004 graduate of Boothbay Region High School, joined the Pro All Star Series (PASS) Pro Stock tour in 2004. The highpoint of last season was a fifth place finish and Northern Tire Rookie of the Race Award at the Riverside Speedway in Groveton, N.H. in the PASS 150. He was also third in PASS Rookie of the Year points. Corey has been racing for many years in several different divisions, from carts to cars.
