March 31 was Invited Guest Day and almost one-half of our members brought a guest. Edith Lewis was with us again as were Sherwood and Audrey Leighton. It was good to see Florence Harrold back after being laid-up for a while. Our new cook, Laurie, served a meatloaf dinner with banana split cake for dessert. Everyone cleaned their plates -- it was so good. Sherwood was up to his old tricks providing us with laughter as he read humorous stories. The Townsend family entertained us with their toe-tapping music. What a joy it was to have them with us again. On April 11, Ed and Sandra Thibeault showed slides of their recent trip to Caribbean. | |
