The Maine Department of Transportation has developed preliminary plans for the replacement of Hodgdon Bridge in East Boothbay. The bridge carries Route 96 over the tidal basin abut two miles south of Route 27 in East Boothbay. Before proceeding with final design work, the Department wants to share the work they have done to date and gather public reaction to it.

MDOT representatives will be at the East Boothbay Fire House at 6 School Street (Ocean Point Road) on Wednesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. to explain the details of the proposed project, listen to comments and concerns, and answer questions about the proposed plans.

A plan of the proposed project is available for public inspection at the Boothbay Town Office one week prior to the public meeting.
