Congratulations to the following students for their participation in
the
"Habitat for Life" program.
Mary Fuller is the school winner for Division III.
The following students received Honorable Mention: Heather Reynolds,
Ashton Nickerson, Tallie Colcord, Sam Cook, Ashley Braga, Alyssa
McGlauflin, Morgan Mitchell, and Claire Unda.
The 2002 Maine Middle Level Scholar Leader Award is being awarded to
Leah
Crewse and Andrew Reed.
Students who are selected display an excellent attitude towards
learning,
provide services to classmates and school, are excellent role models for
their peers and take responsibility for their own behavior and learning.
Leah and Andrew are both outstanding students who exemplify positive
attitudes and demonstrate academic initiative. They also constantly
exemplify desirable qualities of personality, character and integrity.
A dinner honoring Leah and Andrew, along with the other state
recipients,
will take place May 23 in Augusta.
Congratulations Leah and Andrew. We are all very proud of you!
Mr. Johnson's 6th grade class has begun its unit on Reproduction and
Human
Development. A video will be shown to all 6th grade students at the end of
the unit. Parents wishing to preview the video may do so during the week
of May 6. If you are interested in previewing the video, please drop by or
call.
Members of the choruses at BRES will be presenting their annual Cabaret
Concert on Wednesday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the gym. Come join students
for fun, music and delicious desserts, all for just $2.
