The Department Finance Committee and the Department Executive Committee recently approved the raffle. Its purpose is to generate funds for the Department for unexpected expenses, which are not covered by the yearly budget. Hopefully, the winner will be receiving well over $1,000 depending on ticket sales. The drawing will be held at the Department Convention in June. If anyone wants any tickets to sell, please contact Past Department Commander Bud Colby at 563-3009. Proceeds from sales should be sent to the Department of Maine, P.O. Box 900, Waterville, ME 04903.
