Boothbay Puts Property Up for Sale

The town of Boothbay is once again putting the former Ryder property up for sale. The taxacquired property which the town has owned for some 20 years according to officials is to be sold as one parcel of 141 acres.

Letters and brochures are going out this week, and both individuals and businesses will be contacted personally as part of the Boothbay Region YMCA's New Century of Service capital campaign which was officially kicked off June 6.
``Freedom I'' Dinghy Is Locally Designed and Built for the Disabled

The ``Freedom I'' dinghy is aptly named, for it gives a new freedom to paraplegics to get out of their wheelchairs and onto the water for modest recreational boating.
